TimeStamp Camera Terms of Use
Welcome to TimeStamp Camera (the "App"). These terms are an agreement between you and the yatyapp developer ("we", "us") about your use of the App. Please read them together with the Privacy Policy. By tapping "Agree" or using the App, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the App.
1. The service
The App is a watermark camera. It adds watermarks such as time, date, address, coordinates, altitude, weather, device model, custom text and logo to photos and videos, and provides an in-app gallery, photo editor, work collages (exported as image or PDF), sharing by date and watermark template sharing. Actual features depend on the version you install. We may add, change or remove features as needed.
2. About watermark information
- Time comes from the device clock. Address, coordinates, altitude and weather come from system location, geocoding and third-party services, and may be inaccurate, delayed or empty. They are for reference only.
- Watermarks produced by the App are not legally binding proof and do not replace official attendance, timekeeping, surveying or evidence systems.
- If you plan to use watermarked photos or videos for attendance, expense claims, insurance claims, project acceptance or similar purposes, confirm with the relevant organization that this is accepted.
3. Acceptable use
You must follow the laws where you are and agree not to:
- forge attendance, travel, construction, inspection, insurance or other records by changing the system time, faking location, editing watermark fields or any other means, or otherwise commit fraud;
- capture or distribute other people's images or voices without consent, or otherwise infringe their privacy, portrait, intellectual property or other rights;
- take photos or videos where this is prohibited;
- reverse engineer, crack or modify the App, or bypass payment limits;
- use the App for any illegal activity.
When sharing photos or videos with a location watermark, protect your own and others' location privacy.
4. Accounts
No registration is needed to use the App. Buying or restoring Premium requires signing in with a Google account, which is provided and managed by Google. You must follow Google's terms and keep your account secure.
5. Paid features and ads
- Official watermark: photos exported by the free version carry the App's official watermark in the top-right corner.
- Premium: a one-time purchase through Google Play, not an auto-renewing subscription. It lets you turn off the official watermark on exported photos, as shown on the purchase page. The price is shown by Google Play.
- Restore: after switching devices, clearing data or reinstalling, sign in with the Google account used for the purchase and tap "Restore purchase".
- Refunds: purchases, charges and refunds are handled by Google Play under the Google Play refund policy. Premium benefits are revoked once a refund is completed.
- The App may show an app-open ad from Google AdMob at launch. Advertisers are responsible for ad content.
6. Your content
Photos, videos, edits and collages you create with the App belong to you and are stored on your device. We do not access, use or back up this content. You must have the rights to any custom text and logo you add. Please keep your own backups of important content.
7. Intellectual property
The App's software, interface design, watermark templates, icons, text and related content are owned by us or the relevant rights holders. Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App. You may use photos and videos created with the App for personal or work purposes.
8. Third-party services
The App includes third-party services such as Google AdMob, Firebase, Google Sign-In, Google Play Billing, Open-Meteo weather and Open-Elevation altitude. When using them, you are also bound by their providers' terms. Their availability and content are the providers' responsibility.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
- The App is provided "as is". We try to keep it working but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, or that watermark information fits your particular purpose.
- We are not liable for service interruption, incorrect watermark information or data loss caused by device hardware, system limits, network failure, third-party service issues or force majeure.
- You bear all consequences of using watermarked photos or videos for forgery, fraud or any other breach of these terms.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability does not exceed the amount you actually paid for the App.
10. Changes and termination
We may revise these terms when features change or the law requires it. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the App after a revision means you accept it. You can end this agreement at any time by uninstalling the App. If you breach these terms, we may restrict or stop providing the service to you.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (for this purpose excluding the laws of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan). Where mandatory laws of your place of residence give you greater protection, those laws apply. Disputes should first be resolved through friendly negotiation; failing that, either party may bring a claim before the competent people's court where we are located.
